Luca Barbieri has been a research fellow at the University of Warwick and a senior consultant at King’s College, London. He currently teaches at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland) and is research director at the institute Opera del Vocabolario Italiano in Florence. His research interests lie in the poetics and lyricism of French literature, medieval novels, the editing of texts, cultural exchange through the French language during the Middle Ages and the lexicography of medieval Italian.
