Rabaté, Dominique

Dominique Rabaté is a former student of ENS-Ulm and professor of 20th century French literature at the University of Paris Diderot. He is an essayist and critic and has written numerous books: on des Forêts, Quignard, NDiaye, on the novel and the narrative in the 20th century. Most recently published by Corti: Gestes lyriques (2013), La Passion de l'impossible (2018) and Petite physique du roman (2019). He has studied the changes in modern literature since the 1860s, as a transcript of a voice, and is interested in modes of subjectivation in the post-Romantic regime and in the redefinition of the contemporary individual.
