
Rolf Fieguth is Professor Emeritus of Slavic Languages and Literatures at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland). His main areas of research are literary theory (Russian Formalism, Structuralism, the philosophy of Roman Ingarden) and lyric theory, Russian literature of the 18th to 20th centuries and Polish literature of the 16th to 20th centuries. He is also active as an editor and translator of scholarly and literary works from Russian, Polish and French.
